G. Steele Dewey, III
Chairman and CEO
Steele founded Aston Properties in April 1980. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a full-service retail development and management company which operates in the Middle Atlantic and Southeastern States.
A graduate of The McCallie School and The Citadel, with a B.S. in business administration, Steele served two years as a US Army officer. He has served on the National Board of the YMCA and as chairman of the Metropolitan Board of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, the Board of Trustees of The McCallie School and the Board of Goodwill Industries.

George S. Dewey, IV
President
George has a lead role in all new projects, including site acquisition and anchor tenant relationship responsibilities. Since joining Aston Properties in 1997, he has participated in 1.4 million square feet of retail developments and acquisitions including an additional 2,000,000 square feet currently in Aston’s development pipeline. Prior to joining Aston, George was with Charlotte, NC, based developer, The Bissell Companies.
George graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in economics. He served as chairman of the Board of Managers for the Simmons YMCA of Charlotte, serves on the Executive Committee of the May 20th Society, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, having served as a panelist and committee member of the Carolinas Idea Exchange.

Kevin M. Flynn, SCSM
Senior Vice President – Construction & Development
Kevin has been a key to the success of Aston Properties for over 20 years, during which he has experienced all facets of the retail real estate industry. While leading the firm’s development activities, he completed more than 2.5 million square feet of new and redeveloped retail space throughout the Southeast. Currently he oversees the construction requirements of new projects and existing properties and handles zoning, municipal reviews and “right to build” issues.
Kevin graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a B.A. in economics and is a Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM). He holds real estate licenses in five Eastern States.
