Steven J. (Steve) Townley, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Steve has a varied background in accounting, finance and tax. He has served as CFO of Aston Properties since 1999, and brings the knowledge and experience necessary to structure, finance and close complex real estate transactions. His career began in public accounting at Ernst & Young. In 1991, he became tax director for Bovis Lend Lease, a $2 billion construction services company.
Steve is a graduate of Northeastern University (Boston, MA), where he majored in finance and accounting, and is a North Carolina Certified Public Accountant. He serves on the board of Nexus Urban Serve, the finance committee of Forest Hill Church and is volunteer coach in the YMCA sports program. |

L. Karen Partee
Vice President – Construction & Development
Karen has been with Aston Properties for over 22 years during which time she has served in a number of roles. Currently charged with leading the firm's construction and development services department, she coordinates all facets of entitlement, design and construction for new acquisitions as well as handling renovations and major tenant upfits within Aston's existing portfolio. Karen recently completed a $1 million renovation to Specialty Shops on the Park in Charlotte, NC, a high-end specialty retail project located in SouthPark. Prior to joining Aston, Karen was with Clark Tribble Harris & Li Architects.
Karen attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is active in her church as well as mission and service organizations. |
